Coastal Rooter started in 1998 with Edgar C., one truck, and a simple belief: people deserve a plumber who tells them the truth and charges a fair, upfront price. After years working under as a journeyman, he had seen too many homeowners hit with padded bills and unnecessary "replace it all" recommendations — and set out to do it differently.
Two and a half decades later, we're still based right here in Chula Vista, still family-run, and still answering the phone ourselves. We've grown into a full team of licensed plumbers handling everything from a single dripping faucet to full trenchless sewer rehabs — but the way we treat a job hasn't changed since day one.
