As a single woman it can be daunting trying to figure out who to call, who can I trust, who is the best – etc. I someone magically found Edgar at Coastal Rooter when my water heater flooded my downstairs. He came over immediately, took care of the problem and recommended the perfect restoration company to repair my very damaged home. Edgar kept in contact with me daily until the job was complete. He always showed up on time and did what he promised he would do. Not to mention that he is a very hardworking, dedicated family man who could not be more polite or professional. As someone who has owned rental properties for over 40 years, I have had occasion to use numerous drain cleaning services. I contacted Coastal after I was unhappy with the company I had been using and Edgar was amazing. We discussed several options for fixing a 4″ main drain line and he was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I am pleased with his work and his team and highly recommend him.
Coastal Rooter came to the rescue when my sinks all backed up at once and I had 5 guests arriving the next day. They made room to put me on the fixit list that same day and worked from 10 until 7:30 pm to get everything in working order again. The workers were polite, cleaned up after themselves, worked efficiently, and explained exactly what the problem was in a way I could understand it. Max was the supervisor on the job and he and Vincent got a big job done economically including a senior discount. My guests will be arriving in a hour or so for 5 days. Think of what that would have been like had they not come to my rescue.
I called Coastal Rooter in desperation after my son and I went 3 days with no hot water, then 1 day with no water at all! They said they’d have someone over within the hour. They were here in 30 minutes!! Max, the gentleman who came to our rescue was very professional, knowledgable, and patient, even when the job he had to do seemed very difficult due to the tiny space in which he had to work. Max was very kind and respectable and worked hard to get the job done right. When he left everything was working again, even the water pressure which had been very low for weeks. For what he did, I thought the price was very reasonable. From now on, if we come into problems again, these are the people I will forever call first.
I recently had a plumbing issue , I had a small crack in the faucet under my sink . At first I thought the water was coming from the hose on the faucet that connects to the sink so I cleaned up the water and went about my. Business, but again when I went to do my dishes I noticed more water on the floor. I contacted Coastal Rooter and spoke to Edgar and explain the problem, he was very professional and nice and came out within 45 minutes. Not only did he do a awesome job but he was able to detect the leak and fix the problem . Very reasonable and very professional.
I’ve had Coastal Rooter come out to my home several times now and they always do a great job, whether it’s drain cleaning, septic work, or any other plumbing issue I’m having. I highly recommend Coastal Rooter to do any plumbing service you need in San Diego, especially if it’s an emergency!
Today the drain in our mobile home became plugged up. I tried to clear the drain myself with over the counter drain cleaners to no avail. I then Googled “drain cleaning services” on my cell phone and noticed that Coastal Rooter did drain cleaning for only $69. I called Coastal Rooter and within half an hour Max and Brian were at my house. They used a professional auger to clear the drain. Max even showed me how to use the augers that I purchased from Walmart so that way I could possibly do it myself in the future. Max and Brian were very professional and provided fast and friendly service. I highly recommend Coastal Rooter. It was a great deal for $69 plus $10 tip.
I was very worried when my guest bathroom backed up, I didn’t know who to call, then a friend of mine recommended coastal rooter. Louie was very professional and clean cut. He talked to me and explained everything so I could understand it. He wasn’t pushy, and he let me know that everything would be fixed, no problem. I’m very pleased with the results and this company. Coastal Rooter re-lined 45 ft of my sewers. Coastal Rooter was wonderfull they handled everything they said they were going to take care of for an amazing rate. They honored my $400 coupon and gave me a senior discount saving me a total of $860. Highly recommended. excuse my spelling. lol
He did some indoor and outdoor plumbing, repaired the water mane, and put on a pressure regulator. Edgar did a great job. I couldn’t have been more pleased with him.

Even though I’m capable of cleaning some of my drains, I’ve called them several times over the years because I know they will do it right every time.
